Minister of Health and Care Services
Anne-Grete StrÝm-Erichsen, The Norwegian Minister of Health and Care Services, will honour the Dignity Conference with her presence and by giving the opening remarks at Solstrand Hotel & Bath in September.
Anne-Grete StrÝm-Erichsen is educated as computer engineer, and has twenty years private and public sector experience in computers and information technology in the fields of system development and management. She was Commissioner, City of Bergen, from 2003 until she was appointed minister of defence in 2005, and four years later Minister of Health and Care Services. In her current position she has the responsibility for the following policy areas: the hospital sector, health services in the municipalities, public health promotion, mental health and alcohol/drug abuse.
